Discipleship is to create worshipers or disciples of Jesus Christ and to help teach others about Christ in such a way that He is worshiped and enjoyed. Ultimately Jesus centered discipleship is about training leaders to who will then train other leaders to influence people to learn about Jesus so He is enjoyed in all aspects of life. In 2 Timothy 2:2 Paul encourages Timothy to pass on what he has learned from Paul to other faithful men. This is the essence of Jesus centered discipleship.
