Revs. Phil & Denise Anderson

Lead & Associate Pastors

Pastors Phil and Denise came to Ferguson in 2023.  They have been married 34 years, have 3 beautiful daughters, 2 amazing sons-in-law and 5 grandchildren.  Their family has served throughout the world (South Africa, Dominican Republic and Thailand) and most recently served refugees and immigrants in Texas.  Phil enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking and playing with his grandchildren.  Denise loves cooking, exercising, being outside and serving others. Denise is also a full-time Social Work professor.
Their ministry experience has been serving in multicultural environments.  They believe the church should look like heaven... "
a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages" (Rev. 7:9a). They also believe the church should represent and serve the community where it is located in collaboration with other ministries and services to people.

Philip Speicher, known to many as Phil, has been involved in music all of his life through groups in high school and college and for the past 10 years as worship leader at Ferguson Church.  He and his wife Brie received undergraduate degrees from MidAmerica Nazarene University.  Following graduation from MNU, Brie went on to become a high school Biology and Chemistry teacher, and Phil attended Washington University in St Louis School of Law.  Phil received his J.D. in 2004 and later received his LL.M. in Taxation in 2008.  Phil is currently a Shareholder and Vice-President in the law firm of Mathis, Marifian & Richter, Ltd.  Phil and Brie have been married for 13 years and have been a part of Ferguson Church as lay leaders in a variety of ways during that time.  Phil also serves in various other ministry activities, including serving as a legal advisor for North County Christian School and as a member of the Advisory Boards for the Missouri District Church of the Nazarene.  His profession as an attorney keeps him busy but he loves to work with the worship choir and lead music in the worship services with a desire to bring glory to God.

Ramon "Ray" Henderson
Youth Leader

Born and raised in Ferguson, Ramon “Ray” Henderson has dedicated his life to being a servant Lord and sound biblical teaching.
Ray currently holds the position of youth ministry leader at Ferguson Church. Ray discovered his love for Christ at a very young age. At age 5 while attending church with his grandmother, Ray asked to be baptized. Unbeknownst to him, this baptism would be the beginning of a life long relationship with the Lord. Ray credits all of his gifts and accomplishments to having received Jesus into his heart. Using his passion for learning, he was able to graduate from the University of Central Missouri in 2017 with a degree in Economics and Finance and is currently pursuing a trade in barbering. He intends to utilize his many gifts to share the Gospel of Christ and to uplift underprivileged communities.
