Dusty Thompson
Lead Pastor
Pastor Dusty Thompson grew up in the home of a pastor, yet never came to saving faith in Jesus until his mid-twenties, when Jesus, like he says "blew up his reality". Pastor Dusty graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a B.S. in Physical Education and is currently pursuing a M.A. in Pastoral Studies from Wesley Seminary. Pastor Dusty is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. The Thompson's have served in the ministry 10 years in North Carolina and Missouri. He served as youth pastor in Pineville North Carolina; youth pastor, associate pastor, co-pastor and now lead pastor at Ferguson Church. His wife Lisa is a great supporter, help mate and friend. Lisa graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a B.A. in Music Education. They enjoy spending time with their four sons Christian Paul Thompson, Corban Ray Thompson, Cylan Lee Thompson, and Canaan David Thompson.

Maukiesh Howard
Associate Pastor
Maukiesh Howard grew up in two homes. From birth to 12 years old he lived with his mother & extended family. At the age of twelve he moved with his father and stepmother and that is when he decide to follow Jesus Christ. Maukiesh graduated from McKendree University with a B.A. in Organizational Communication and Missouri Baptist University with a M.A. in counseling. Maukiesh is pursuing his district license in the Church of the Nazarene. The Howards have served in the ministry 3 years in Missouri. He has led and hosted 2 christian community wide outdoor festivals and now is the youth director at Ferguson Church. His wife Amber is a great supporter, help mate and friend. Amber graduated from McKendree University with a B.A. in Social work. They enjoy spending time with each other, visiting family, community development, and playing video games.

Dave Speicher
Associate Pastor
Pastor Dave Speicher was a Lead Pastor for 41 years having served in Kingston, Missouri; Parish, New York; Syracuse, New York; and at Lakeside Community Church in Hastings, Nebraska for 20 years before coming to serve as Lead Pastor of Ferguson Church in April of 2011. He simi-retired in June of 2015 and currently serves as part-time associate of Administration and Facility Management for Ferguson Church. He received an undergraduate degree in religion from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma and a Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. He also graduated from the 3 year track of the K-Church School of Large Church Management through the Church Growth Division of the International Church of the Nazarene. He and his wife Kathy have been blessed with 46 years of marriage, four biological children (three sons and one daughter), two foster/spiritually adopted daughters, nine biological grandchildren, and five foster grandchildren. Pastor Dave is excited about helping people experience God’s love, encouraging them to grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ and leading the church to have a healthy ministry that connects with the community.

Kendra Smith
Children's Ministry Director
Kendra Smith was saved as a young child, baptized in the third grade, and has spent her life loving the Lord. She married her best friend, Eric 23 years ago and they have two wonderful children, Kendall and Kristopher. Kendra loves Jesus, her family, being with friends, chilling at the pool, and sauerkraut on her pizza. She has worked in children’s ministry for about 30 yrs, yes she started when she was only 9 years old. ☺ She has served as nanny, home daycare director, preschool teacher, elementary Sunday School teacher, and a church preschool director. She is currently the receptionist at North County Christian School in Florissant. Something inside Kendra says love the children and teach them about Jesus. Her vision is to show Jesus to every child that walks through the doors of the church. Kendra is humbled to be a part of an amazing team of children’s ministry volunteers at Ferguson church, and is excited about building the ministry for the kingdom of Heaven.

Philip Speicher
Worship Director
Philip Speicher, known to many as Phil, has been involved in music all of his life through groups in high school and college and for the past 10 years as worship leader at Ferguson Church. He and his wife Brie received undergraduate degrees from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Following graduation from MNU, Brie went on to become a high school Biology and Chemistry teacher, and Phil attended Washington University in St Louis School of Law. Phil received his J.D. in 2004 and later received his LL.M. in Taxation in 2008. Phil is currently a Shareholder and Vice-President in the law firm of Mathis, Marifian & Richter, Ltd. Phil and Brie have been married for 13 years and have been a part of Ferguson Church as lay leaders in a variety of ways during that time. Phil also serves in various other ministry activities, including serving as a legal advisor for North County Christian School and as a member of the Advisory Boards for the Missouri District Church of the Nazarene. His profession as an attorney keeps him busy but he loves to work with the worship choir and lead music in the worship services with a desire to bring glory to God.

Danielle Ricks
Office Administrator
Danielle has grown up in the Florissant area her whole life. She attended Florissant Valley Baptist Church until her early twenties and then attended First Christian of Florissant until she started on staff at Ferguson Church of the Nazarene 4 years ago. She has always been very active in church rather it be helping in the children’s area, youth area, decorating, cooking, sports or music. Danielle was saved when she was 7 years old and has been growing and serving ever since. Although Danielle did not go to school for office administration she has found that this is a perfect fit for her personality and a great ministry opportunity. In her spare time, her two teenage sons keep her busy by working on vehicles, fishing, car shows or doing stuff around the town. She also enjoys hanging out with friends and family.

Stevie HesslerWomen’s Ministry DirectorStevie grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Missouri while still in high school. She is married to her best friend, Harrison, and they have now been married for four years. She came to know the Lord when she was a teenager, but in the last five years her walk with the Lord has grown deeper as she has committed all of her life to God. She has been involved in various ministries including; Women's Ministry, Outreach ministry, Street ministry, Celebrate Recovery, and Bible studies. Stevie is finishing up her dual bachelor’s degrees in Biblical Studies and Behavioral Ministry from Saint Louis Christian College. She then plans to attain her master’s degree from seminary. Stevie has a heart for serving the Lord and her community as well as helping others. She is humbled and grateful to God for the opportunity to lead the Women's Ministry at Ferguson Church of the Nazarene and for her co-leader, Danielle Ricks. She believes that it is God’s desire for women to come together and grow deeper with God through his word, encouraging one another, praying with one another, and fellowshipping with one another.
