Jesus centered missions is being a part of God’s reconciling work in the world. All through Scripture we see this mission of God being carried out and was manifested most beautifully in Jesus Christ. So whether through acts of service, short-term mission trips, neighborhood outreach, or supporting other believers overseas we are taking part in God’s reconciling work around the entire world. We were not saved to try to navigate through life without any discomfort but we are to be risky and trust Christ through the process. Jesus Centered missions is pushing back the darkness in a dark world with the light of Jesus Christ for the glory of His name and the enjoyment of His people.
