FNC Children’s Baseball Picture Day———-

We ask that everyone be present for the team photo.  Any purchase is optional, and any individual picture is optional.  Please prepare to pay in cash on May 19.

During the photographer’s down between team sessions, if you would like to have any other photo taken to purchase, they will be happy to take your photo. (baseball or not).  We have a photo on our shelf of Dad and the children together which we had taken many years ago at the FNC Baseball Picture day.  So you can mix it up for a photo you’d like to purchase, just ask them during the times when all the teams have left the photo site.

We’ll do photo’s on the hill near the parking lot.

Children’s Baseball Ministry

Monday, May 7th, Practices will have to be in the gym. (rain times).

Who: Boys and Girls Mixed

Ages 6 – 13 years

What:

Coach Pitch/Modified T-Ball League 

For 6-8 year olds:  Coach pitch, with the child having the opportunity to hit off the “T” after 4 pitches.  No strike outs.

 Little League

For  8 -10  year olds:  Pitching Machine.

For 11-13 year olds:   Player Pitch.

 Age cut-off between divisions will flex based on individual skill levels.

When: April thru June

Practices:  Saturdays in April: 14, 21, 28, then one night per week (end of April –Jun) See more information here: 2012Kick-off practicedetails

Games:  Saturday Mornings (May –Jun).  Eight scheduled games.  Make-Up games due to rain may be played on week nights during June.  See game schedule here:  FNCbaseballschedule12

Awards and Celebration:  June TBD

Our first session “Fear God” is April 22.

 We celebrate Jesus power to heal and restore. Individuals at FNC testify to the power of our Lord in their lives through the following statements………….

•  I was 3 x left to Die…………………………….now I’m alive by God’s grace.
•  I had an abortion, felt dead inside, wanted to die…  now I’m forgiven by God through Christ and made alive inside.
•  I once was fueled by alcohol and drugs……..now I have the power of Christ in me.
•  I once was believing the Enemies Lies!……..now I’m accepting the truth of Christ!
•  I once was tormented by my son’s self destructive behavior……now I’m learning to let go and let God.
•  I was diagnosed with cancer…………………now I am healed by His stripes.
• I looked for love in sex, drugs and alcohol……….now I’ve found God’s perfect love.
• I was an alcoholic with severe liver damage……I’m now sober by God’s grace, healed by His stripes.
• I was lost………………………………………….then I found God.
• I was lost- gripped by “fear”, alcohol and food….now I’ve been “found” by HIM and “freed”.
• I was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma….now I’ve been healed by God’s power and am 12 years cancer free.
• I was broken & bound by sin……………….now I’ve been repaired & set free by the Savior!
• I was a battered & bruised Pastor………….now I’m restored, renewed & ready “2” Serve Him!!!
• Sin destroyed our marriage………………….God’s grace rebuilt it.
• I was abandoned by my mother……………I’ve been accepted by my heavenly Father.
• I was in chaos………………………………now baptized in Christ.
• I had selfish with ambitions & desires of the flesh…….now I’m giving and striving for God’s perfect will.

Going on from that place, he went into their synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” He said to them, “If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? How much more valuable is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”

 Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out and it was completely restored, just as sound as the other. But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.  Matthew 12:9-14

You are invited to check our “First Place”

at the informational meeting Monday, Septmeber 12th at 7pm.

Classes will be one hour long and begin Monday, September 19 at 7pm for 12 weeks.

“First Place” is a Weight Management Program based on biblical principles.  During this session, our time, will maily be spent on Bible STudy, but will also include accountability and mini food instruction.

The Junior Varsity and Varsity Athletes defeated Tower Grove Baptist in their south city gym as full house of Tower Grove and NCCS fans cheered them on.  While in the NCCS gym the Junior High Boy’s and Girl’s traded games with Priory while a large crowd of fans roared.

The highlight of the night and most outstanding reflection of spirit was demonstrated by the cheerleaders as the Tower Grove and NCCS girls joined together to cheer on the crowd.  Now competition is what it is, but this is what it’s all about!
