Sermon Audio
Webster’s defines a podcast as a Web-based audio broadcast via an RSS feed, accessed by subscription over the Internet.That means you can set up software that will automatically download new audio files to your computer. In our case, that means that software can automatically grab the audio files of new sermons each week.
Some instructions:
- Internet Explorer: Currently, IE doesn’t automatically link to podcast readers like iTunes.
- Firefox: Firefox will give you an option to download when you click on the podcast button (located in the left column of links at the bottom), but will ask which application to use. You need to point it to the iTunes application, which is usually at “C:\Program Files\iTunes\itunes.exe”.
- iTunes: Open iTunes. Click on Advanced menu, select “Subscribe to Podcast”. When the box opens, enter “http://www.fergusonchurch.org/?feed=podcast” and click OK.
